Having the bandwidth to distribute content is wonderful, but without a solution to deliver a web-based video player to their users, BitGravity came to us to create a video user experience that they could offer to their clients.
When BitGravity came to us, we created a multi-resolution video player system that is used by their clients like Revision3, Tom Green, TwitTV, JustinTV and many others.
By creating a generic web-based video player, BitGravity was able to expand their client base by offering a one stop solution to video content distribution and consumption on the web.
In 2011, BitGravity successfully exited the internet startup space by selling to Tata Communications for an undisclosed amount of money. Much of their engineering staff has since been acquired by Juniper networks.
