SearchMe believes that users often search for pages that they've seen previously. Sometimes seeing a screenshot of a website can help the user locate the information they are looking for even faster than a plain text search.
The other major differentiating factor of the SearchMe search engine is their ability to categorize and refine search based on particular contexts.
A user searching for "dolphins" could be searching for information on the marine animal, the Miami Football team, collectables, travel sites or many other specific contextual meanings of the word 'dolphin'.
By listing common categories across the top of the search results, users could drill down into search results that were filtered by context, providing a much more powerful search experience, and allowing us to refine advertising opportunities for the specific context of a user search.
